Are cartoons on TV ever going to be offered in HD format? I haven't seen any yet and am curious if this is something that we'll see soon with all this HD stuff coming out.

Though there is Direct TV's Animania HD channel, the others who already posted raised some valid points...especially with computer animation and traditional hand-drawn cel animation. Existing back catalog cartoons would have to be either cropped and stretched to fit the HD screen size or presented in a box in the middle of the screen (practically the reverse of "Letterbox" format on standard-definition TV).

Nah. I don't think so. When you look at the HD versions of Disney, Boomerang and so on, the cartoons are obviously upscaled.
You can easily see the amount of duplicated pixels if you record a show to your DVR and edit it on your computer.
720p means that there are 720 unique pixels.
So obviously if you find duplicated pixels, it's an upscale.

There are cartoons on HD channels, however because of the computer graphics processes involved with creating most cartoons It would be impossible to make them HD without seriously changing the appearance of them.

The Directv satelitte dish works with basically Directv hardware and the the Dish community antenna works basically with Dish community receivers. there is not something you should purchase which will replace this or all you to scouse borrow alerts. >would a Dish community administration container paintings with an instantaneous television satellite tv for pc dish and/or vise verse< Do you have difficulty understand-how? See above. No.

No there isnt any out and even if their were, they wolldnt look any different because cartoons are only made up of like 100 colors so they might be a little sharper but thats about it
