Hmmmm, very good question!
At a risk of being a hypocrite , no.
Maybe good or best friends but not serious romantic one. I think there is just too much luggage there. I don't think I am strong enough to be able to deal with it. Sorry.

I've had such a bad past that I don't think I would ever hold it against somebody. If this person was not doing it anymore and I truly wanted to be with her, it would not matter to me.

yes i would have --- i nearly did --- she is a lovely lady just separated from her husband (no chance of a reconcilation) --- and i met her in my profession -- accountant/teacher

that really doesn't matter.. as long as if he/she loves you.. he/she would quit that kind of job.. i would if she would give me her loyalty and honesty to myself... and wouldn't mind that.. because i would love her..
