Your next posted question deals with a similar triangle only this time each of the sides is twice as long. Instead of 3-4-5 it is 6-8-10. So the horizontal component is 6 units and the vertical is 8 units.

Generalized process:
use sine and cosine of the angle...multiply each by the number of units (vertical and horizontal, respectively)..
