Im in school now and I never remember taking an IQ test. IS everyone in school required to take an IQ test?

If I go to college, will they make me take an IQ test?

I suppose it depends where you live, but in my experience, most schools do not routinely administer IQ tests unless you are being considered for special ed services. The same is true in college. Of course you can go to a psychologist and request IQ testing. But this would be quite expensive, so I wouldn't advise it unless you need the score for a very important reason.

The college entrance exams -- the SAT and the ACT -- are not IQ tests, but the scores correlate pretty well with the scores on IQ tests. So, for example, if you do well on the SAT, your IQ is probably pretty high. I know that statement is not very exact, but it's a lot better than trusting the online tests, which are fun but totally meaningless.

No IQ test is accurate.
