The last thing I did to change my life 4 the better was 2 admit 2 myself & others that I am an alcoholic. I denied it 4 yrs but when it started causing problems with my children & my work it was time to admit it. I've only been sober 6months now but my relasonship with my kids is much better & my job isn't in danger.

the last thing I did that changed my life for good, was this..

I had always been in sales.. some form of sales.. whether it be at counter level or national mgr.. and I was so sick of the crap involved in selling to the public.. I was mostly in high pressure end sales.. cars, etc..
I changed my career at over fifty years of age and now teach kids swimming...

best thing ever.. oh and yeah.. I get that workout in the water every single day.. I still do sales part time.. but now in an industry that is of service.. i.e. medical..

I got out of my Lazy Boy and went fishing. Caught a couple Striped Bass, they were "monsters".That's just so the answer fits better.Nothing like getting out on the High Seas.

I got out of my recliner and went on a month expedition in Bigfoot country. I saw things with my own eyes and let go of my bias and realised that much in life that I had prejudice with was became a legitimate understanding instead of my warped opinion just by putting the effort to actually go out and see with my own eyes for myself.
So many people believe what they read, believe what their parents told them and go with what seems logical when they could find things out for sure by doing, experiencing life instead of making a guess and sticking to it til death.

Do you know you're in the Paranormal section?? lol
Well, today I returned a call to a friend who had hurt me. (I had thought of just "dumping" her from my life...like I thought she'd done to me)
I stopped taking a PTSD medication that helped to block my feelings...and am now on one that just relaxes me. (I still feel the "hurt" but I think I'm getting better at living with it)
The first of this year..I contacted and made up with my sisters who I hadn't talked to in over 15 years. (because of a misunderstanding) We've been talking almost daily ever since.

I quit the pot. That was years ago. Now if only I would quit the beer and the ciggies I'd be in much better shape.
