what breed do u have? most need a good size pen to live in with good cover.males can have up to 8 or more females to breed with in season but pairs can do well too.good supply of water and grains or a good poultry mash or feed.the bigger the pen the better

Phesants are a ground bird whose main diet is seed, whether it be grain, corn, soybean, etc. They usually flock ( a male with a number of females), are everywhere when there is no hunting and no where when the season is on. Great eating once you get past the bird shot.
