None, by praying to or through Mary you are sinning.
1 Timothy 2:5-6 "For there is one God and one Mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all men- the testimony given in it's proper time."
One sin does not erase another sin. Only Jesus can take your sins and make you white as snow.

Only God can forgive sin and there is absolutely nothing in the Bible or New Testament about hail Marys or Our fathers being of any use at all.
Pray to God the Father thru Jesus and have a conversation with them. That's the only way!!

You can say all the "Hail Marys" and "Our Fathers" you want but it won't cause any of your sin to be forgiven. The only way that will happen is trusting in Jesus as your Lord and Savior.
Luke 13:3 I tell you, Nay: but, except ye repent, ye shall all likewise perish.

There is no amount or any work that can forgive our sin. Only Jesus can forgive our sin because He paid for our sin by dying in our place. When we turn from our sins and are baptized in the name of Jesus for the payment of our sins(Acts 2:38) then God will forgive us and give us the gift of the Holy Spirit. It is the indwelling of the the Holy Ghost that gives us the power to become the Children of God.

Mortal sin is the sins of the ten Commandments. they are oftentimes forgiven through confessing them. Venial sins are smaller sins that still will be confessed (yet do not must be) and do not bar you from the dominion of Heaven do you should die with them on your soul. yet another large difference is that if a Mortal Sin is on your soul, you won't be able to take communion, while with a venial sin, you could.

It doesn't work that way.
Catholics believe that you are forgiven for mortal sins if you ask God for forgiveness. This is usually done with a priest as a witness (it is a misconception that the priest is the one doing the forgiving).

10 seem that was the number I was given every time.
...I was in 4th grade the first time. I entered the confessional. Now it seems strange expecting a child to trust someone in a dark booth behind a curtain, that they can't see. Trusting him to get me out of going to hell after I broke moms favorite vase, eating that cookie, not eating my peas, undone homework assignment.
10 Our Fathers 10 Hail Marys...prescription for repentance?
Were probably up to 50 by now.

The movie matinee version of Catholic belief and practice is not reality.
Forgiveness is so much more complex and at the same time simpler than such a parody can express.

Prayer isn't what forgives sins. Prayer is a tool to live a holier life, to bring about a change in one's heart.

My bible says a repentant heart is all you need. It says you should confess your sins to God, not to another sinner.
