Lately, I've been going through extremely tough times and have been pretty down. I've been talking to some adults who I call my "mentors" and they brighten up my life. It's just that now, if I don't talk to them for a while, I start getting down and lonely again. I know this is unhealthy. I think I'm getting too dependent on them. I understand they could be completely GONE one day. I need to leanr to find my happiness from within. I don't know if anybody has an exact answer to this, but any feedback would be appreciated.

True happiness comes from within.Make a list of things that bring you happiness or pleasant thoughts. Think of things you like to do, and do them. Try to discover something that you never knew you liked or were good at. Maybe you have a hidden talent. Maybe bringing happiness to others makes you happy, and you just don't know that yet. There's a great big world waiting for you to discover it!

My best suggestion may well be considered a biased one also, but I'll give it nonetheless: God is your most important and effective mentor to turn to when you're struggling and down about things that are happening. He's never completely gone or too busy, etc. Human mentors are very important, but if you ultimately seek Jesus' help with all that you're going through, it's the best option to take. Good luck!

Following Islam in the correct way (as Islam orders) will bring you true happiness. I can bet my head on this statement of mine. Study Islam deeply, follow it correctly, and Allah All Mighty will give you happiness. Web Pages won't help you find the correct Islam, read books and the Quran. Money only buys jealousy, depression, anxiety and all the negative things.
Islam the religion of Peace and Happiness.

Make it your quest to find things that make you happy without any outside interference. Just going out and looking for such things can be uplifting. Take on a hobbie, you never know what you might just find fun if you try. Get some excercise, even if just walking. Try walking in nature areas too, very peaceful. Work on doing things by yourself and building on yourself. You can do it. Be well.

Well, you're young and still learning how to depend upon yourself for things like this. Chances are none of them will be gone any time soon. You have to find out who you are first. What are your interests? What do you want to do when you are grown? Try some things out, like reading to kindergarteners or writing stories. Find something you like and get really good at it. You'll be ok.

First of all you have to focus on YOURSELF. Find things that you like to do. I myself, love to be in my garden, but when gardening season is over, and I get depressed, I go to my garden in my own head. Just thinking about your HAPPY place can make you feel so much better.
There is a saying:
Busy people don't have time to be unhappy!!!!!

There is more to this, if you want it let me know.

Yes you have to love yourself before you can love anyone else. Don't rely on anyone else for your happiness. You can't blame someone else for your happiness or unhappiness. Just be happy.
