Religion... evokes the basest of feelings in a human. It's what people cling onto when everything else is gone... when tragedies happen and catastrophies strike. Now when different religions enter the picture, a certain type of animosity will surface.
Religions do cause pain, fear and hatred, but over it all, remember: they also cause faith, hope and love. Three things that can wash away the first three.

the pain, fear, and hatred in the world are the result of some people trying to control others. in most cases, it has nothing to do with religion, tho there are two sects of abrahamic monotheism whose followers have a habit of using their god as justification for causing pain, fear, and hatred. the vast majority of religions do not proselytize and do not deny the validity of others' spiritual path; therefore, they have no reason to try to control others.

I think that it has more to do with people ignoring their religion than religion itself. All of the great religions of the world preach nearly the same messages.Human beings just have a hard time following the rules.

I've never "met" a religion, I've met people who cause pain, fear, and hatred in the world.

As religion is power over people where this power is greatest it tends to be usurped by those who would control the people. But as the world becomes more secular other methods are appearing such as fascism or racial identity. Religion is needed and it should not be seen as the source of trouble generally. It should be a source of hope and comfort. Make it so.

They don't.
People who CLAIM to be following their religion MIGHT, but that is not the same thing. Most true religions are about the opposite. it is only when a messed up fringe sprouts up that problems happen. Of course, they claim to be religion X and the media ignores it when real religion X says "hey, it isn't us!" because that isn't good, exciting news.

definite, the question exhibits your sturdy coronary heart. sturdy human beings worry God to no longer do any blunders, and then they continuously love God for paying for reward. that's amazingly value to hate God and in easy terms they have been on unhappy. go away the atheists, there is not any actual atheists in india and in easy terms in western international locations.
