Genesis tells a story of a boat that is supposed to be a little over 1.5 million cubic ft. (even though it would have to be substantially bigger to have held all the animals of the world). You have to assume that after the flood it came to rest on land. Granted it is said to have been 4200 years ago, but a structure of that size would still be around somewhere and you'd think would have been found by now. Is there any explanation of this in the bible?

"chosen one"- you made a lot of sense up until you said that we know where it is, but it is too buried under ice to find. A discovery like that would be the biggest breakthrough in christianity and they would find it if it existed.

Well yeah i find it interesting that the Ark was supposed to be "The length of the ark shall be three hundred cubits" and the Waters when the Earth flooded were 15 cubits deep. That makes the Ark absolutely GIGANTIC. Do you know how many trees it would take to make anything that large? Is this what happened to the Forests of Lebanon? LoL. So any explanation that the Ark was dismantled and used for building homes and firewood is laughable. Not to mention Noah himself building something that massive. If this Ark was supposed to be 20 times the depth of the flood waters in lenght it would have to be massive.

You have to read between the lines in this story to find your answer. When the flood first started, Noah, his family and the rest of the people in the land he lived in were at the bottom of the mountains. The tops of mountains were frozen. When God flooded the world to the depth of at least 30,000 feet Noah and the ark were now on the surface of the water. This was now sea level all around the world which would have raised the temperature high enough to keep Noah and the rest from freezing while the rest of life on earth drowned. When God rescinded the water the ark came to rest on the top of Mt. Ararat which is about 17,000 feet tall. The top of mountains were no longer frozen because of the new sea level. As the water level dropped over time Noah, his family and the animals would have had to follow the water level back down the mountain which could have took months or years. They however would have had to abandon the ark at the top of the mountain. As the water level dropped over time the tops of the mountains would have frozen over once again because of the drop in sea level. The glaciers forming once again would have buried the ark under tons of ice and snow for many centuries yet to come. I believe it won't be long before it's remains will be found. But of course that won't happen until God decides it is time for mankind to find it.

The Bible doesn't say what happened to Noah's ark after the flood. For all we know Noah's family could have used the wood to make shelters, firewood and other things because of the destruction of trees that the flood would have done.

I can't answer the Bible reference question...
However, I can remember that with recent expeditions - that they were always looking at the wrong mountain for it. Not in Turkey? But there is a mountain bordering Iraq? Which local legend had as it's claim... haven't heard of the latest in the search for it.
Of course, it could not house every animal .. note - many cultures have their flood legend, like Noah's ark.

It just says that it rested on the mountain of Ararat. The apostle Paul mentiones it in one of his books in the New Testament and the book of Hebrews mentions Noah who was faithful when he built it. There are many accounts of what is believed to be the ark or remains of it but we really have not seen full documentation of it in modern times. Satelite photos are too unclear since they show a possible structure under ice. Too often there is only one person's account of seeing the ark that cannot be sustantiated by other witnesses. There is abundant evidence that it did exist in historical records but in modern times there are so many conflicting reports to be certain what is actual and what is not. We are overdue for a breakthrough on this.
