Fix your dog! You will have less aggressive problems, less moodyness and a more stable and healthy dog. You aren't hurting your dog or making them less of a dog. It's better for the dog if it's fixed!

If tou get them fixed by the age of three it won't change there basic personality but it will help make them less agressive, and calmer. It can take a couple of months before the testosterone level drops but I think you should, especially if you aren't planning on breed him/her. I have 4 dogs, 3 are fixed and the 4th will get fixed when she's old enough. You can always consult your vet to ask their opinion.

Yes you should definetly get your dog fixed. I heard that it will make them less aggressive. Also there are already so many animals sitting in the spca needing homes. So you don't need your dog getting out and making puppies.

You should indeed have your dog neutered or spayed. Having them altered does not make them more agressive, in fact it helps prevent agressive behavior by reducing hormonal levels in your dog. Additionally in male dogs neutereing can help prevent urinary tract infections, bladder stones, and testicular cancer. In females it reduces the chance of ovarian cysts and also prevents your dog from going into heat and bleeding all over the place. An altered dog is much happier and as an owner that will make you much happier.

Fixing a dog will in most cases make him less aggressive. However, it's not a cure-all solution...if your dog is aggressive, you need to get a behaviourist in.
