Obviously yes.
My worst was at three month pregnant - it never formed into a baby- it was just a blob.

No, He wouldn't because that would be outside of His will. If there is a miscarriage, then the ultimate fault is with the person, not God. While that may be unfair, how could a person be at fault rather than something God did for some reason, one would have to look at everything that goes into the development of the child, as well as how the mother's body responds to it. You see, should something go wrong, and the mother's body discovers the baby is present, the auto-immune system of the mother will attack the developing baby just as it would any other disease mechanism because that is what it is supposed to do. Is "she" in the best of health, if not, then she could miscarriage because she was not is as good a state of health as was needed. Man pushed God aside with the belief that man could get along just fine without God. So let's not fault God when things go wrong, but totally ignore Him when things are okay.

It seems like every week we see mothers in their 1st or 2nd trimester who have discovered that they're carrying a fetus that will not survive the birth process due to a life-threatening malformation. It is difficult to call them babies, because by all appearance they are little more than a mass of disorganized tissue. That is a cruel assessment, I know, but it is none-the-less accurate. The mother's conundrum is that in order to end the pregnancy, an abortion is required, and in this state, insurance companies don't pay for abortions. But these particular cases aren't simple, and the mothers can't just walk down to the corner abortion clinic and have it done. They are full surgical procedures, and they require inpatient stays. They can cost from $10,000 to $15,000 or more. Lots of patients don't have that kind of money laying around, and they are forced to carry the fetal mass to full term, only to go through the anguish of giving birth to a dead mass of fetal tissue, just so their insurance benefits can kick in. Is this right?

Many obgyns, with science and medical research, have found that many miscarriages, especially early ones occurring before 12 weeks gestation are indeed caused by chromosomes not lining up correctly.
I am an Atheist, but in some sense, you could say that a miscarriage is an abortion practiced by God himself - miscarriages are very sad and happen to women of all, and no, religions and denominations.

People make babies. Sometimes they are underdeveloped or disfigured. I don't believe that God is making"messed up babies" for us to make a life choice. Looking at things logically it would be a very descision eitherway. I guess I'm more of put by the God making messed up babies and does he have wisdom question. It would be pretty weird if someone on Yahoo had all the answers you need. Good luck and take care.

Wisdom is a relative term. If a fetus is too messed up it would abort itself. God and nature work in harmony.

God doesn't go about creating messed-up fetuses. In fact, the fact that miscarriages occur can be thought of as in vivo "survival of the fittest".

this is like the old one, can god create a rock so heavy that even he can't lift it.
As to messed up fetuses, notice how the Fundies divert any culpability away from their god, and put it everywhere and anywhere else, even, gawd forbid, on science and genetics?
you are a busy dinosaur these days!
