You train her not to. When she's quiet, give her attention. When she barks, ignore her.

Ignore the barking. If that doesn't work, discourage the barking with a sharp no. Always praise for being quiet.

It really doesn't matter the breed, all breeds can have barking problem. When is the dog barking? Do you know what is causing the barking? Is the dog getting enough attention and exercise? Where does the dog start barking (outside, the house, crate, ect.)

Make sure your dog gets a lot of exercise and attention every day. It could be that she feels left out or has too much energy.

This is normal behavior for new puppies that have been just taken away from the only home they have ever known and their mom and siblings. It's very scary! Give her lots of exercise, lots of cuddling. You'll have to be patient until she settles in and loses her fears and anxieties. Give her lots of safe chew toys to play with. Do your best to distract her to do something other than bark. She'll settle down with time--and by the way, poodles are a high energy breed!

When she starts barking, keep repeating the word "quiet" until she is. As soon as she stops barking, give her a treat and some affection and repeat the word quiet. She will soonlearn to associate quiet with not barking and a reward. You can slowly take away the treat and replace it with affection only.

You have a puppy... it's going to bark. It's excitable. Allow it a little time to get situated.

Though I do find a good method is to say NO firmly. If that fails, the next step is to say NO firmly again, and administer a spray.. like a little squirt of water form a small water pistol or spray bottle.

But you know, poodles are somewhat yappy by nature...
