They are very real. People that say they aren't, don't understand. There is plenty of scientific evidence on the subject. There are also lots of treatments available to your wife that you should consider. See your family doctor and get some referals to see a specialist.

Each of those are clinical proven types of mental illnesses that are found in the DSM-IV. Have her get a appt. with a medical doctor first, some of those symptoms are associate physical problems that spilled onto the mental. If he can't help try excercise and nature remedies. Lastly, medication that help with those type of things can help but may have to be taken long term.
Good Luck.

Never judge someone unless you have walked in their shoes. I know what is like to have a illness nobody can see that does not make it real. Just because we look well that does not make it so. I think your wife has real illness and I hope she can find the relief she is seeking. God Bless

im not sure what goraphobia is, but im familiar with the rest. i have had depression since i was 11. my parents didnt believe it is a real medical condition so i never got treatment for it. im now 24, and im still suffering to the point where its ruining my life and relationships. i have anxiety too, but its mostly directed to fear of failure. i become so afraid of failing i cry and panic, and then nothing ever gets done. my husband has been very supportive of me. im very blessed to have such a great guy. anyway, you answered one of my questions, and you said you were in law enforement? i wish you would open your email because i have a question about this guy who had been following me around. if you ever do open it, please email me. thanks:)

All real and truly debilitating. The only people that don't believe it, are those that have not lived with it , or had a loved one suffer from it in one way or another.

They are mental health illnesses and are real. People who have these illnesses often concentrate on themselves more than most people, thus making their issues worse. Medications, therapy and physical exercise often help.
