Does any one have a ballpark figure on an insurance quote for a 2008 Totota Solara.
21 yr old. Never been in an accident. Great grades (I know some companies give discounts).

Its going to be very difficult for anyone on here to give you a ballpark figure on a insurance quote. There are several different factors that greatly have an effect on how much you pay for insurance. You will also need the VIN number. Here is a list of those factors:

Your age (you say you are 21, you are still considered an inexperienced driver until you are 25)
Your driving record
The kind of car you drive
Where you live
Male or Female ( Rates are usually less for females)
The primary use of the vehicle
The amount of coverage you are putting on the vehicle (If the vehicle is being financed, the finance company usually requires full coverage)

Please leave Geico alone, they are a absoulte joke, let the TV comercials speak that for itself. I have also not heard anything good about them either

Good luck to you

Car insurance acts like a great friend at the time of crisis. It covers the losses made in an accident and thus saves you from paying out the huge sum from your pocket. However, there does also need to be insurance on the car itself, so the owner of the car needs to take out a policy to cover it. The extension is just there in case you need to drive the car and are not a named driver under the owner's policy. One thing to bear in mind though is that you are only getting third party only cover under this extension, regardless of the cover you have on your own car, so if you have an accident, the insurer will pay out for damage to anyone else's car or property if you are to blame, but you will have to foot the bill for damage to the car you are driving under the extension yourself.

To be honest there are lots of ways to get the best quote for a car insurance., My friend used http://official-car-insurance-quotes.com/ for getting a quote in 30 seconds. They are really fast and covers the cheaper price in the market.

Do you have prior insurance? are you married or single? There are so many variables. You will need full coverage, but what kind of liability limits are you looking for? If I were you, try online sites like Geico or Progressive or call a local agent, quotes are free and you want an accurate quote if your trying to fit it into your budget, not a guesstimate.

get out your phone book and look up an independent agent in your town. they write for a lot of different companies so they can find you the best rate. please do not go online to get a quote. online quoting does not take enough information to acurately quote you and you WANT the benefit of using an agent so if you ever have a question or problem you have a human working for you not an machine.

Just try a few insurance websites.

You can get online quotes.I'd say your payments would be roughly 80-150 a month though.

Let me know if I was right lol.
