I feel like I am not as pretty as other girls at my school or guys think that I i'm just good for a friend not a gf". I'm not short (5'5"),. Only the weird goofy looking guys look at me "that" way it's never the hot emo guys! and I hate sitting out on slow songs. It makes me feel even worse about myself. I don't like being alone, i miss holding hands, kissing, cuddling, ect.

The best mode of operation to be around the opposite sex without being to occupied with being alone is to keep yourself busy. If you are athletic join the schools sport teams, if you like current event issues find a debate team. If like music and can play an instrument join the school band. Volunteer with some organization or with your church. The more you expose yourself in activities that you enjoy, you will increase the opportunity to meet people you have a commonality with. Getting involved with other things outside of school will also enable you to become involved more so you want get bored or lonely. In the meantime don't waste your youth being concerned about not having a boyfriend because if you are involved in positive activities then you want have time to be concerned. In addition, when you are doing things you enjoy, you will feel more positive and people will want to be around you especially the guys. Keep your head up, and know that this is just a rough patch in the dating scene for you. I promise this too shall pass.

hey , I am 6ft 1. , play lead guitar in my band , and workout 4 times a week. I hear what your saying , I always get the short goofy looking 5'5" girls who are not prettier than the other girls looking at me.

From what I could see of the tiny picture, you are a very pretty girl. Part of the issue could be with your self esteem translating into how you walk and act. Being confident in yourself (not stuck up) helps in the attractiveness department.

You should note that 5'5'' is short :)....
If your only looking for a hot emo guy...that could be your problem. That limits your choice of guys. It might be better if you were open to other types of guys.
