don't you think NASCAR needs to realize nobody likes it? Jeff Gordon and Richard Petty both said how they dislike it but nothing. Only brian france said that he likes it.

know it all.
i have never liked the chase never saw a problem with the way it was before.... if a someone has a major points lead then that shows how good they were, I don't care if it's jeff gordon or not.

I've hated it since they came up with the concept. A playoff system does not and will not work in motorsports. And its constant changes show they lack confidence in the system themselves.
Its because of NASCAR's ingenius "improvments" over the years, why I don't consider it a sport any longer. Its pure entertainment reshaped to fit the demand for tv. Its pretty much why I don't get mad anymore if Hendrick runs away with the ball or my drivers don't do well. I just don't take it seriously anymore. Hell Brian doesn't, why should I?
Thanks a lot Brian, you were handed a sure fire formula and you botched it up in less than 3 months you were in charge. Cheers!

The new mangement of NASCAR is only after the profits and the Chase is their profit.
Most fans agree that the chase is a political dog and pony show to showcase big bucks.Sure some fans are elated as their favorite is leading or in the chase but for the purest of the sport we love to see a good race and a race to the finish and the chase has stopped that.
43 cars take the green and the race should focus on all teams and not select teams. But when profits talk then the race is over.
DUMP THE CHASE

My husband and I was watching Wind Tunnel last night and Dave Despain had said that Brian France will never admit he has made a mistake with the chase. So it will be a perm thing even though ratings are declining. In my family we have decided that we will only watch a 26 race season and whoever is leading the points then that's who we will crown our champion. My husband wants to start a letter writing campaign as well. LOL

Check out that interview again. Those two did not say they disliked the Chase.
Gordon said the changes resulted in differing standards.
Petty said that the combination of a two-team chase between Gordon and Johnson was boring.
I think you're making a real leap in logic here.

Yes, Brian France loves it all he see is $$$$$, fans hate it some of the drives hate it.. I heard a thousand different ways to do this chase thing one I heard the most over here this weekend is okay...the top 12...a 5 race chase and all those guys are at 0 points when the chase starts, well heck that would already have the same results this yr...so who knows theres to much one team total domination...yes I'm happy Jr is going to Hendrick next yr...but dang there needs to be racing and some competition come on boys...Get--R--Done, we need more competition, side to side, banging, bumping, rubbin is racing, geez.. if theres is no racing there is going to be no fans..Lets Race Boys come on....

I hate the chase, its awful. Gordon won both titles in 04 and 07 and yet loses because of the chase format. If tony wouldnt have won in 05 or jimmie in 06 i would have complained because those guys were the ones who had the best overall season in their respective years. Im tired of NASCAR 's antics and their refusal to make changes to something that needs fixed.

It is clear that the fans can not stand how Nascar is running things. Just look at the TV ratings and how many empty seats there is at the races. Nascar would have never changed things if Dale Earnhardt was still alive. Because Nascar was scared of Dale and His fans.
