You are your own person and you do have the right to believe any way you want to. It is also your choice as to whether you go to hell or not. But let me ask you this, if you don't believe that there is a hell, what difference should it make to you if some one is telling you that you are going to a place you say does not exist? Why get upset if it doesn't exist? Since you don't believe in hell, just ignore the people who tell you you will go there, and find out for your self some day.

You're right. No one should be yelling at you or threatening you with hell. I am a Christian and if a person truly wanted to know about my faith and what I believe, I would tell them, but I'm not going to be mean about it. That serves no purpose but turn people off from talking at all to me.
But please...don't think that all of us are just really mean and rude people. You've just met some people online that are really poor examples that doesn't show Christ's love.

Yes, my friend, you are your own person. Some people should learn to keep their mouths shut. You have the right to your own beliefs, whether they are right or not, is irrelevant.
There are bad apples in every barrel, Christians included, and sometimes even though they are well meaning, they are wrong to force their beliefs upon you.

Another thing is, why is it so important we are to believe that anyone who isn't or doesn't believe in and or follow christianity are the ones supposedly destroying man kind and causing so many problems and etc. They take the whole spread the news crap too far and this is what comes from it when they get head deep into their belief.

I agree with you on the point you made about those Christians who only preach "fire and brimstone."
As a Christian I know that there is so much more to Christianity than that. There is so many wonderful things involved with being a Christian, such as the love of God and knowing that Jesus died on the cross to forgive us of our sins, that he is risen, and that he will come again.
Please do not believe that Christianity is a negative thing.

Our scriptures say to answer "with gentleness" and I'm sorry some haven't done so. Some are just bossy and can't stand anyone who's not like them, but some do it because they really want you to go to heaven and not, er, you know, the other place.

I think you have things turned around; it's the unbelievers who are mean because they are abusing Christ and persecuting the Christians.
Why? Because they are hostile and jealous, and the ugly part of human nature is prompting them to attack the most wonderful person Who ever lived on this earth. The Bible calls this the sin nature. But there is hope for any who repent of their sin, and believe and receive Christ as their own Saviour and Lord.

That is the basis of religion: fear and hatred. Any questioning of their beliefs brings fear, and fear quickly becomes hatred.
I dislike many, many things believers do, but I feel about them as I would feel about a mental patient too insane to comprehend the atrocity of their actions.

Wait, I thought Christians are the ones that massacre entire civilizations, completely obliterating them from the history books, for not converting. Silly me, I guess I made a mistake.

Not all Christians are that way. I don't agree with you but I pray that you change your way of thinking.
