There's this guy that I'm friends with and I don't have any classes with him this year, so I said we have to hang out sometime. He mentioned that his hottub is up and working so we're going to hang out in there and catch up. I like him, and would love for him to be my bf, but is he thinking the same thing? I asked him out a couple years ago and he got all "I don't wanna ruin our friendship" on me. Hottubbing is a good sign right??

Watch out because he me be after just one thing . The I don't want to ruin a friendship thing earlier mite mean he likes you but not attracted to you. kind of a way of letting you down easy. Now, second you told him "we have to hang out" , he didn't ask you to come over and check out the hot tub first. He my have the idea that your looking for a good time! ;-) I would go and have fun and get caught up with each other and see where that goes but don't make it a make or break situation . This way there will not be to much pressure on you so you can relax and have fun. This is just one guys opinion .

To be frank,
You should not be getting into a hot tub with any guy, period. You are putting yourself in a position to compromise your integrity,as a (young) woman, and your overall judgment.
If you have no problem with that, then go ahead.
If you want him to be more than a friend, then ask him directly. "Hottubbing" with a male, without understanding his clear intentions for or feelings about you, is setting yourself up for a bad situation.

yes and no. Hottubbing means he likes to hot tub. If you want it to be more, you need to either make the move or not. Men don't always have "meanings" behind what they say. He wants to be your friend and share his hot tub. If you want it to be more, you need to speak up again and find out. Don't waste time wondering and don't make him uncomfortable. Just talk to him, and be honest with him.

Ooh. You should wait a little longer, and see what he does to you, then you can get a clearer sign for if he likes you or not. Just wait a little bit longer, pay attention to his signs. HOTTUBBING is a really good sign. See what happens.

Hot tubbing is definitely a good sign, but I wouldn't assume anything. What if he's invited other people to "hang out" at the same time?

Its really hard to tell. I would think a lot of guys wouldn't ask a girl they weren't interested in to hang out in a hot tub.
Try giving him a kiss in the hot tub and see how he responds.

I would say yes but I wouldn't think too far into it though.
Just play it 'dumb' and see what he does. Whatever you do don't give in to any advances cuz he would think you are cheap and would probably not ask you out again except for physical reasons.

yes it is a good sign he likes you but he might also be wanting something else and if you are not ready do not give in tell him no if he is a true bf he will not pressure you and he will wait till you are ready.
