Dearest Sister,
I just pray that the LORD will make a way for you to have a child. That even as there are many examples in the scriptures--that God will give a child to a woman who promises to raise this child in His way and by His standards.
I pray for you to have wisdom and understanding and the comfort you need and that you are able to give this issue completely to the LORD and ask Him to make you willing to be willing to release this desire to Him utterly surrendering to His perfect will.
I thank you for asking "How would one pray about this?"
I pray all these things In Jesus name. Amen.

I will pray for you. It seems many are praying for you today. Isn't it beautiful to know there are so many willing to respond to such a wonderful request. Here is a lovely verse for you today.
Psalms 127:3 Behold, children are a heritage from the LORD, the fruit of the womb a reward.

I won't pray for that because I don't know you and don't know if you are ready to become a parent. It's a very tough and important job, often thankless, that requires alot of patience and self sacrifice. Too many people today are having kids because it is a fad and they treat their kids like accesories.
God's will be done.
That being said, I will give you some good advice...If you are having trouble, go to fertility and have all the basic tests done especially an insulin resistence test (especially if you are overweight). Insuline resistence is a very common cause for infertility and it is very easy to treat. At least find out if you are going to have challenges with conceiving so that you can have good perspective about what you need to do.
But again, God's will be done...

Yes. I will keep you and anyone with the same wishes in my prayers. There are so many deserving women out there who deserve the happiness only a child can bring.

No.
Even if I believed prayer worked, we already have way too many people on this planet, we don't need more. Now, if I believed prayer worked, I'd pray for you to be content without one, but since I don't, I won't. I hope the latter happens for you though.

Why don't you adopt? It will guarantee that you have a child, and a child in need of a family will have a loving home; sounds like a win-win situation to me.

I will light a candle for you, dear. If it's for your higher good it will come to be. If not, I hope that you can come to grips with this -- and maybe adopt a child that needs you?
