I have a car that I've been keeping in storage for someone. I've lost contact with the owner of the vehicle and I have no paper work for it at all (Title, Registration, Etc.). It's a really nice car and I was wondering if there is any way that I can get a title so I can register it?

Depending on your state, you may be able to apply for an abandoned vehicle title. Contact your DMV for help.

Go to your nearest DMV and provide them with make, model, yr, license plate and vin number of car and ask them how you can go about getting the title and re-registered.

Get the VIN number, take it to your local DMV office and explain your situation.
