help with rafters?

when cutting rafters what degree of cut is required for a 10 foot wide building with 4 and 12 slope

Buy a small framing square or speed square at a hardware store or home center. It will have marks on it to show what angle needs to be cut for the roof angle of a common rafter and various slopes.
