I like the butter in the Middle of the popcorn bucket, but I don't like to OVER do it on the top. So, how do I get the butter in the middle?

When the theater has a self-service butter station, I usually ask for a water cup and just fill that up with butter so I can add as you get to the dry spots.

You may have to carry an extra cup, but you can apply as you need it.

Edit... I guess some people aren't familiar with theaters with self-service butter stations. The concession stand only sells the popcorn. The butter is at a different location where the customer butters their own. They don't have any butter behind the concessions stand.

1. Buy the size that lets you get refills.
2. Tell the guy to not fill it to the brim, but leave 3-4".
3. Put in some butter, shaking the bucket around, kind of bouncing up and down to stir.
4. Ask for more popcorn.
5. Top off new popcorn w/ butter.

none of the above!!!
A large popcorn has over 120 grams of fat!!

-That's 120 grams of artificial fat that clogs your arteries.
Natural butter is no health food but your body can handle it much better.
Go no butter or very little. Get the cheese sprinkle topping instead, at least all that is is salt.

better yet, go to a good dinner before the movie and just
buy maybe a drink and a small bag of m&ms at the movie.
For the price of popcorn, drink and candy for everyone you could have a meal at a decent restaurant, and you will have gotten much more filling and nutritious food for your money.

Any popcorn vendor worth his salt will put some butter into the middle of your bucket, shake, and then place some on top. If they forget, I remind them. Most are very nice about it, and aim to please.
