I was wondering if bting and eating ice was any different to drinking water. i love to eat ice and was wondering if drinking water would be any better Thank you

One of my contacts just asked a similar question, she says her doctor told her that ice was depleting her iron. I also heard that ice was not good to eat.

Well, you're probably not getting as much fluid eating ice as you think you are. And it can hurt your teeth if it's the hard-frozen kind of ice (like from your ice maker) and not the crushed ice (like from a Dairy Queen or someplace). But do some of both eating ice and drinking iced water and you'll probably be alright.
