They were grading the C.O.T on the pre-race. I heard alot of B's / B+.... For safety reasons. What I'd like to know is, was the current car they've been driving all these year's,that Damn Dangerous ?? I mean for such a drastic change? Hell I've seen
more NFL players hurt in the past week, than I have in
Nascar, the last few YEARS !! I can see why Roger Penske like's it so much...Driver in the center of the car,Wing on the back !! All you have to do Roger,is cut a hole in the roof so your drivers head's can stick out of the top, like your damn Indy car's,and you can cut alot of YOUR cost !
And Brian France... GO TO HELL !! You have my e-mail address !!

I wrote this answer to another Question, but I think it fits here also.Hope ya dont mind.......Its a dog and pony show.Where is the colorful people that used to be in stock car racing?Where is the unscripted happinings in the garage and the absolute honesty that the forerunners brought to the sport?it is now a very bland uninteresting 4 hour sunday napfest.I am sick of Jimmie,Jeff, and the entire sport in general.I was a brought up a nascar fan,and respected the drivers. No one has any personality,or originality, nascar wont allow it..Remember being different in nascar is BAD!!!voicing your opinion is BAD!!!And how in the hell can you even tell the cars apart?Where is the difference in the look of the car.Nascar is a monopoly, and is on a rocket sled to demise!!!in 5 years it will be non existant. You can only put so many sponsers in the sport before it just gets overloaded.Soon there will be no dedicated teams or employess, nascar will make all cars the same and off a production line where they can keep there fat little fingers on everything and make them all the same.......so..if its all the same?Where the hell is the fun in that...And this comes from the heart of the nascar family..I live right smack in the middle of it all and it is able to make the old school fans like me and others here in"Race City USA"phsicaly ill,and want to kick someones ***!...thank the good lord there is a drag strip coming to charlotte..All Hail the NHRA!!!.....

Grade=*sound of object falling to bottomless pit*Lowest F that can be reached.Lower than Where OJ'S soul will end up!!...Wow that's bad if'n I may say so.

Snake, remind me never to get on your bad side. My view on the COT have changed, I thought at first that they were going to be great for Nascar. You know safer and better racing and stuff. I though it might even up the series with the cars being the same that the smaller teams might have a chance to run with the big boys but that has not been the case. The bigger teams as usual have found what it takes to dominate. The racing has gone to the birds. I love Nascar and I dont like what Im seeing and its not because of Hendrick motorsports winning all the time(well maybe a little). They need to do something to make the racing better. Brian France is ruining a great sport. I hope they get it figured out before speedweeks in Daytona. The Talladega race this fall was pityful and its usually always one of the best races of the year.

Snake, I'm with you 100%, yes the COT is safe..but theres nothing wrong with the current car...I agree ole Brian France can fall of the face of the earth and hell as far as I'm concerned... These COT's can not race, and I do not like single filed racing...Ya know Rowdy said it best back in bristol the COT SUCKS.. (hey I found myself pulling for Matt today, and I'm a chevy person)...hope Roger doesn't try what you are saying I can not picture NASCAR with a open roof.. Ya know, I wonder after next season....maybe Nascar might look at the Crap of Tomorrow and Kill it...I'd be happy.. I would not give this COT a "C-" rating..But I'm sure Jimmie and Chad do..

It's a money thing...if something were to happen to Gordon, Johnson, Earnhardt Jr., or Stewart....NASCAR would have just put a nail in their coffin...those drivers are their cash crop..cant have anything happening to them. NASCAR needs to bring back the coy and stop watering down the races, the cot is BORING!!!!! Single file racing at Talledega is wrong!

COT= taking my money at Talledega

The C.O.T. will be the downfall of Nascar. If I wanted to watch formula one, I'd do it. I don't.
The car of tomorrow is a big slow piece of junk. Where would you buy one of these? You mean it's not stock? Maybe Nascar should change it's name to reflect the change of venue.

If something were to happen to Gordon, Johnson, Earnhardt Jr., or Stewart...

That box on wheels they call the Car Of Tomorrow could BE their coffin! Just nail THAT thing shut and dig the grave.
