to disprove the existance of God/Jesus.Why are there very few uproars over, hindu, muslim, pagaen, wiccan, atheism etc...
Personally I feel if so much effort is put forth to disprove something then maybe there is something to it to begin with.

Very good answers, especially macguyver(a picnic sounds good).I understand some bias against God/jesus is due to overzealous religious doctrine that is forced on some.I am just observant on yahoo the little bit of animosity toward other faiths compared to God/Jesus.
Although Wiccan suffers a stigma concerning witchcraft and true there books are being boycotted. It is far less than the outcry to remove any God/Jesus icons or doctrine from every aspect of life, just not the libraries.

Probably because of the amount of energy that is put forward by some Christians that theirs is the "only" answer.
Personally I feel if so much effort is put forth to prove something, then maybe those making the noise are trying to convince themselves...

Few uproars over Paganism and Witchcraft or Wicca? I can tell you've never been a follower of this path. Some people are so afraid of us that they don't want our books in bookstores, they don't want us to be allowed to practice our religion. It all stems from ignorance; if they educated themselves on what a loving community the Pagan people are, they might not fear us so much.
Quoted from Asker: "Although Wiccan suffers a stigma concerning witchcraft and true there books are being boycotted. It is far less than the outcry to remove any God/Jesus icons or doctrine from every aspect of life, just not the libraries."
I don't see that as an assault on Christianity, per se. I see it as upholding the Seperation of Church and State. No one will stop you from having your books, pictures, cricifixes, crosses, whatever in your home. (And there is certainly no shortage of books on Christianity in bookstores or libraries.)You simply can't expect us to put them in our courthouses or other government-funded buildings.
If you agree, give me a thumbs down :)

I don't try to disprove any deity I simply do not believe and have my reasons. The more I hear of the power of this deity the more I take into account I don't see anything he supposedly he can and does in this day in age. Until something from any deity and the deity his, her or itself is willing to show that they aren't about getting praise then that would be a different thing altogether.
This so call "so much energy put forward to disprove the existence of God/Jesus" comes from the people want to or actually push and push how he can do all things, how he died for us etc etc and tell us all it takes is to believe in it and threats of hell. If the amount of annoyance would die down the more these upsetting things too would die down.

No one is putting forth much effort to disprove god. People are pointing out the mountains of already-existing, readily available evidence that seems to point toward the non-existence of god. This takes very little effort.
Usually this is done in response to god-believers' claims that they have "proof" of god's existence - for it is the claimant's responsibility to supply the proof of their extraordinary claims. Typically what you view as effort put forward to disprove god is simply rebuttal of an attempt to prove god's existence.
By the way, when atheists and other free thinkers show proof that points toward god's non-existence, they mean ALL gods - hindu, muslim, pagan, wiccan, and all the rest. Not just Yahweh.

I don't dispute the existence of a creator. In fact, I seriously question the intellectual honesty of so-called atheists who do.
What I object to about Christians, and Muslims for that matter, is the implied threat of your world view.
In the end, if God exists we don't have the faculties to understand him/her/it. We would be like ants trying to relate to humans. So, whatever your beliefs about God I'm sure he/she/it is big enough to accomodate them.
The only threat is in believing you have an exclusive right to God. In my opinion literalist Christians and Muslims are a throwback to a simpler time and they will either evolve to incoporate a more universal view of the creator or the Avatar of Jesus will reach an intellectual and emotional dead end and go the way of Zeus and Odin and all the other gods of
history.

i've got heard (i'm ex-pat so my counsel is 2d-hand) that the projected savings are in accordance with 30-3 hundred and sixty 5 days-previous records. of course ability utilization types have replaced rather for the reason that then. won't there be greater utilization for air con this manner? element of the rationalization why ozone spikes would be so severe in warm climate is as a results of fact all of us activates their air con.

For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them. For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even His eternal power and Godhead, so that they are without excuse,
because, although they knew God, they did not glorify Him as God, nor were thankful, but became futile in their thoughts, and their foolish hearts were darkened.
Professing to be wise, they became fools.

Because equal effort is being put in to dumb people down with mythical mumbo jumbo. Wouldn't you feel outrage if someone tried to force you to believe in an all-powerful talking taco? We're just retaliating.

Alright first of all, only one of those (atheism) says there is no god, the others aren't trying to disprove you, but trying to prove their own religion.
