just want to clarify, when you buy a ticket at knotts for southern california residents, it's good for one time use only right? not for a whole year? or do they have a promo like universal studios where you get a year free when you buy a 1-day ticket?

Knotts Berry Farm does not have buy one day get the year free like Sea World or Universal Studios. When you buy a ticket at Knott's Berry Farm it is good for one day only. Knotts Berry Farm do have annual passes for Soak City Waterpark or Knotts Berry Farm or both combine at reasonable prices.

Can't answer about the tickets, but you can check it all out at www.knotts.com , they have a number of different specials going on right now. But I would say definitely Knotts over Sea World any day.
Make sure you try Mrs. Knott's Chicken Dinner Restaurant!

Sea World is a better deal and better experience. KBF is slow, especially food services and the park is dirty. Clientele is questionable at times.
