The word is guey ( pronounced wey ), literally means ox but in Mexican slang depending on the context of the sentence means guy or stupid, among pals it is OK to call each other guey but not to people you don´t know, the actual correct spelling of the word is writing the u with two dots on top but can´t be done with this keyboard, nowadays in Mexico girls also address each other as guey, funny cause it is a male figure. You can say I know that guy- Yo conozco a ese guey, He is very stupid- El esta bien guey.

In the novel _Like Water for Chocolate_, it was explained that "pendejo" means pubic hair. The Spanish verb pendar means "to hang." I believe there is some synechdoche taking place in the translation. ("Synechdoche": taking a part for the whole, as saying "The child was placed into loving hands" when you mean that the child was placed with a loving caregiver and/or a loving family.)
So I wouldn't necessarily call someone a pendejo if you don't know him very well or if he's a she.
Sandwich: torta, or emparedado. "Emparedado" seems to be from "pared" (wall) and "en" (in), so, walled-in (presumably by the bread on each side of the filling). Not slang per se, but I believe they're regional variants. I believe both an emparedado and a torta are quite different from what Americans view as being a sandwich (different sort of bread, mostly).

pendejo= it comes from pubic hear...but if you call someone that what it really means is dumbass or idiot. its like the stupidest someone can be.
cabron= is like asswhole, or muthafuka, or bastard. it comes from goat.
maricon, marica, mariposa, fresa, pato joto= slang for f.***** or homosexual. i'm not sure but i thinkt that fresa and pato are only boricua slang, not mexican.
no one says para anymore...its pa= para, pa'l = para el, pa'la= para la. for example Wisin y Yandel's CD is called Pa'l Mundo.
nena= girl or chick.
yal= girl or chick
for -ar verb past participles, you shorten it..
for example this is a Fat Joe line...la cuarenta cuarenta te dejo tira'o en el piso.
its tirado, from tirar. but the say tira'o instead. its pronounced like T-Row. the a'o maks an ow sound.
Chingon- comes from chingar- to ***. its basically means badass or if you call yourself that, it means you're the ****. like you're the best.
