Well, I like to be nude sometimes. Well, anyways, sometimes in summer, I will go into the pool in the nude then come out and tan. Sometimes I will call her out, and not cover up, and ask her stuff, just acting like nothing is different. Also, sometimes I will walk to my room at a shower without on, and just walk in front of her. Is this normal?

What's the hang-up with nudity? If you and your mom are comfortable with this, then no big deal. If either of you are uncomfortable, then it might be time to cover up out of respect for each other. I'm 50+ and while we don't go out of our way to encounter each other without our clothes, my 54 year old husband, and 23 and 15 year old sons accept that yes, we have bodies that are usually hidden under clothing, but if they're exposed from time to time en route to or from the shower, so what?!

As longer U and your mom feel comfortable that way U do.For me,that was no big deal to let my mom saw my naked body.But not like the way U had posed to your mom.U should care for her feeling too while she saw your naked body.I'm in 20 today,but my mom still will came in to the bathroom and wash my back sometime.It up to U and your mom,as longer both feel O.K. for this.It should no big deal.Just like a mother love to her child,that all.

If you were like 0-8 years old, then maybe it would be okay if you present yourself naked to your mom BUT you are already 14 years old - in adolescent stage. I am sure your mom would not mind because you are her son but sooner or later - the scenario would become very awkward for both of you. You are physically and mentally changing. You need to present yourself in a more decent manner especially to a person who deserves your respect. If you respect your mom then you would at least put a towel around your waist.

It's not unheard of. She is your mother, and she's seen you naked as a baby and young child.
However, I suspect that you are something of a show-off, and parading your tackle around like this is making other people a bit uncomfortable.
Think carefully before doing it. You don't want someone coming at you with a hedge clippers.

Sure it's normal. My mother and I felt OK about seeing each other in the nude.

No hun this is not normal most boys at your age don't want thier mom to see them naked, however thier is nothing wrong with nudity just that being infront of your mom thing.

So does my son, and he's 14 also. I don't see anything really wrong with it, but you ought to start thinking about being more modest. What would be really wrong is if she stood naked in front of YOU.

I think, if you are a 14, that you are being disrespectful to your mother. There is a time that a person should be modest - and if you are at the 'age of accountability' I think you should start practicing modesty. Your 'likes' need not be pushed on others. Learn to be respectful of others - it will take you far in life.

I wouldnt say it was abnormal but not the norm....i think it comes down to what you and your family are happy with.
but just know that the majority of people would not accept it well
