I doubt it's an ulcer...I would take him to ER..better safe than Sorry. Bleeding ulsers are rare in young people...it take a lot of stress and drinking or taking medications on an empty stomach to do that kind of damage. Could be blocked or ruptured bowel, bleeding hemorids..intestinal blockage
Pls...take him tonight.

He needs to see a gastroenterologist. It sounds like he is bleeding from hemmorhoids or a tear in the rectum. My brother had to get the tears sealed with a laser because he was always bleeding and suffered from constipation.
The other problem is acid reflux and this is easily treated with a prescription.
You do not have to bring him to the ER unless he is in severe pain, looks pale, has a high fever, or is passing too much blood. I always go for my gut instinct and an urgent care center will see your brother faster than the ER.

I think you should definately take him to the ER tonight. Bleeding from the rectum could be caused by many things and if it's something really serious, you don't want to put it off.

He probably should go to the er tonight. Don't mess around with stuff like that. It could be something or it could be nothing. Let the doctors figure it out. Take him tonight.

You know Your child better than anyone, so unless he is really in constant pain, and bleeding dark blood, then maybe it is ok to wait fore the doctor.
He will assess the child and refer him for scans etc.and possibly a procedure called an colonoscophy.
Remember to watch closely and if your child is deteriorating then you should go straight to ER>
I am not a doctor, and this advise is only that.
I have no expertise in medicine or diagnosis, and this advice comes from experience of an older , 59yrs, male so, be aware of your childs colour, demeanor, temperature.and pain levels.
Good Luck.

Go to the ER right away, that kind of bleeding needs immediate treatment by a physician. Don't wait, go now.

the marvelous pink blood you come across on the lavatory tissue is from Hemmoroids. I and my husband have an analogous situation. I rather have exterior hemmoroids and my husband has inner hemmoroids. He used to color the lavatory bowl pink with blood for 10 years till now he went to a doctor. If it bothers you, see your wellness care provider...I assure he will diagnose you with hemmoroids. attempt soaking in a warm tub, or notice warm compresses to it. over the counter lotions do no longer paintings for no longer something.

Personally, I'd take the kid to the ER. But that's just me. Does he have a fever?
