Well, if he/she means alot to you, you might never be able to forget about he/she. Even if you burn the jacket, and throw the ashes into outer space. Sometimes you never forget about people. You might just be stuck :(

Maybe you're trying to get over someone, but I don't think it's right to completely forget about them. I'm sure not every memory you've had with them was a bad one. :)

Burn the jacket, dig a hole, put the ashes in the hole, plant something over the ashes. Life goes on and so should you.

that happend to me. you dont forget about the person. i still have my very first boyfriends jacket. and i always think about him everyday. you dont forget

sell/burn/give away the jacket.
Put it to some use, just don't throw it away. Give it to a homeless or something.
