Hi, this is my first time asking something on here, but here is my question. I have a LG VX3200 which I absolutely LOVE, but I would like to switch it to analog mode and KEEP it there. Im to young to know that much about analog (im only 13) but what I know, I want it in analog. I found out on my phone it switches from analog to digital, how do I make it STAY in analog? I live in a rural community and I remember my parents analog phones used to work better than the digital stuff we have now.
Thank you!!!

ok, I found out how to switch it ( menu, 0, 000000, 3, analog) BUT, I cant get it to stay in analog, it stays in untill I shut it off and turn it back on. How do I keep it in analog? I really can tell a difference
in service, as it has 3 bars now in analog, while it had 1 in automatic. And the people at the Verizon store are full of hot air, as they told me there is no analog anymore! Well apearantly so if I can switch my phone!

Phones support multiple wireless transmissions (analog and digital), but it is all done automatically, depending on the signal they receive.

I doubt your parent's analog phone worked better, plus it probably was 5 time the size of your phone. If you have problems with reception, it is probably more of an issue with your service provider than your phone.
