Points will be awarded for the 'awww factor.' Here's an example: When my older son was 16 months and learning to identify his letters, he had trouble pronouncing 'W,' and would say 'duggledoo.' We made the mistake of laughing too hard because we thought it sounded so cute. So when we would play with his magnetic or foam letters, and I'd point to a W and ask him what it was, he would get embarassed about not being able to say it. So then he would flip over the letter, point to it and announce 'M!'

Last year I had a bunch of friends over for a formal dinner party. My 2 year old was playing. Suddenly she came to the table , pointed up and said look to her daddy. He is always pretending to eat her hands and feet so he thought she wanted to play. He picked her and put her hand in him mouth. All the sudden she started wailing bloody murder. I thought he might have nicked her or done it too hard so I tried to comfort her. He was upset too. We asked her what was wrong and her reply was "Daddy ate my boogie!" It was so funny.

Well, I have a few. When my son was 2, he told the cashier at Target (who was well over 65), "My Mommy's pretty!" When the man laughed and agreed, my son said, "But she already has a daddy!" He meant my husband - his daddy.
Ever since my son was about 12 months old, we've had this little game where we say, "Bitty bitty boo boo" back and forth to each other in a voice that sounds like Stitch from Lilo and Stitch. Everyone said it was too darn cute when he did it.
But one of my favorites was when my son was about 18 months old. He's "all boy," but we got him a boy baby doll because we don't want him to just conform to gender stereotypes. The first few times he played with the doll, he mostly threw it around. Then, a day or so later, we found him in his room - rocking the baby and humming "Rock A Bye Baby" to it. He then fed it, and when the baby cried, he crooned, "Awwwww, my baby," and comforted it. He proudly told us he was the dad, shushed us (because he didn't want us to wake up the baby), and kicked us out of the room before reading the doll a story and putting it to bed. It was a funny sight to see our sports - crazed son playing with a doll; we knew we were doing something right, though.

When my little brother was little he had trouble talking too, and would always call a basketball, a dasketdoll. It was so cute.

Also i babysit a little girl who is almost 2, and the other day when she woke up from her nap she stood and the top of the stairs and said, your little sweetheart is coming, it was really cute.

The other day my mom was asking my three year old daughter what she wanted to be when she grew up and she said " I want to be Mommy". I thought that was sweet.

My son is 3 and a few weeks ago I told me husband that he is not allowed to follow me into the bathroom anymore. I have told my son from the time he started taking his bathes in the "Big Boy" tub that he has a penis. I wanted him to know the correct word. Last time he followed me into the bathroom he asked me "Mommy, Where's your penis?". I told him mommy doesn't have one.

my 3 year old daughter was sitting on my 2 year old nephews chair and my nephew got mad at her and went behind her and grabbed her head so he can bite it so my daughter jumped up and said "hey don't bite my head, my head is not chicken!"
