-Ansel Adams winter series. I love the b&w close ups of trees, covered in ice.

-many moments. Moments in nature usually--the sun peeking through the clouds. A moose drinking from the stream in Yellowstone. A leaf flowing down a stream so slowly with the lush green shrubs around it contrasting with the gray rocks. I'm into nature and our walls are filled with shots we have taken in Yosimite, Natural Arches, and along the coastline. What made this moment worth capturing was a timeless quality. That scene could have been viewed by ancient civilizations and will still be there for my great great grandchildren.

-I like candid, photojournalism style. Not into posed. I'd love a complete package that offered an engagement shot (even if it was just a few actual pictures and just 25 frames), a bridal shot in the gown (a photographer could easily just rent a spot all day at a gardens and offer time slots for all his brides) and then of course the wedding day. I still plan to get a bridal portrait of me in my wedding gown done at a later date.

I'm 26, female, married for over a year.

I agree that photos should speak for themselves. I think they should be like personal works of art. I think that a photographer has got to be an artist or have an artistic eye. I think that the best photos are taken when the subject least expects it and doesn't even realize their photo is being taken.

I agree that if someone could secretly capture a personal romantic moment with my fiance that would be something I'd want a picture of. I think that us laughing, holding hands, kissing, or whispering in each others ear.

I like the styler photographer that doesn't care about staged photos where everyone is lined up and grouped together for some cheesy photo. I like photos where people are in their natural environment acting naturally. I think this style best captures the subjects how we remember them. One shot that I liked that my photographer does is to have all the people at a wedding gather around in a large group and cheer, laugh, wave whatever... the photographer gets a birds eye view of this group and takes the shot. I just think this is better than having everyone line up and pose. I also like B&W photos where appropriate.

I'm 21, female, engaged - planning my wedding.

--Photographs I absolutley adore are the ones where theya re black and white like this one photo about two lovers holding eachother close, almost scraed to let go and to lose eachother. I don't know who took it but when I look at it I feel like crying.

--I experienced that when I look at the sun in the morning, through the trees and the breeze swishes around me. Also, when I look at a tree I look at a certain angle. Why? Because everything has a story to tell. I just choose to help tell the story of natures beings.

--I love the black and white more than color. Because in black and white you don't suffer to look for a perfect shot. In black and white you see something magnificent and take it. You look at the result and see either way it is captivating and beautiful. I think a photographer should provide the result of beauty. The best photographer has to be one who can find beauty in everything. Who has an open mind. Who looks at everything saying that, that object has a significent aura about it even if it is as simple as a button.

--I am 13. I am femal. And in love with my ex. But single none the less.

I love it when someone catches a picture of me and my fiancee kissing... Anything that shows the really intimate moments. :) And I like it when someone catches us laughing together!

I've been with my fiancee for 7 years, since we were 14, and we're planning our wedding. I'm female and 21 years old.
