I have been single for 3 years now. I have tried dating on Yahoo Personals, but that seems to be expensive for one and the 2nd thing the men seemed to not be interested in me. So what next?

If you want to meet a man and not having to go through the on-line dating services nor the bar scene, you first need to get out of the house. We gentleman are not going to knock on your door and ask if you are at home nor are single. You can also try these places:

1) Churches or other places of religious worship.
2) Social, political and volunteer organizations.
3) Schools and universities.
4) Grocery Stores
5) Electronic Stores - We men love our gizmos.

The best thing that has worked for me is networking through friends and family. They always seem to know someone who is looking for someone just like you. The best part about it is that you aren't "cold calling" like if you meet someone in public.

good guys are there, were not easy to find, but were there. First of all don't try and meet guys on line like you say its expensive and those guys are usually desperate losers, not all just the majority. Don't look for a guy in a bar either they're after only one thing, boooiiiinnnnngggggg!!!!!!!! get it. Look just don't lose hope and remember when you least expect it love will come, if you are looking for it love seems to avoid you. good luck I'm sure you are a fantastic person who deserves the right guy. Good luck!

There is a free singles dating site called "www.plentyoffish.com". I met my boyfriend online on another site. It took a long time to find the right man, but we are planning on getting married in a year or so.

Don't give up!

Join a group or activity with the type of people you want to meet.

Examples fitness clubs, dance lessons, gourmet cooking class

Or like the last guy said ,bars, can't say you'll meet quality men if you take that option!

If you get a good answer let me know.

What I've found, Yahoo Personals - really no response. You can converse with them but when you try to actually meet them, they take their profiles off. Or they don't match at all.

Maybe you're just trying to hard, remember the saying, love is found where you least suspect it? Or have you tried being set up on a blind date by a friend you trust? Love is on your side =]

go on craigslist.org personals
or meetup.com
its FREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE

personally the best way to meet people, imo is in real life.
if u have a certain interest or job that you are passionate about, you tend to meet people who have similiar tastes, morals and values therefore you start spending more time with them and creating friendships that may escalate to something else.

Well,

~ 10 ge nan ren, 7 sha, 8 dai, 9 huai! ~
(chinese version)

(english version)
~ 10 men, 7 dumb, 8 silly, 9 bad ~

U dun have to find one instantly...if he's meant to be yours,
u dun have to worry, just need to wait...
no point knocking into a guy thats either dun suits u or not true hearted right?

Just be yourself and believe that one day someone will love u for who u are...
U deserve to be treasured... ;)
