and all of us could go to heaven?

Silly, I did not mean to rip your heart out. To give your heart for Christ in the way that you honor Him with eveything you do with the best of your ability.

How does that work? If you are an atheist then you don't believe in heaven/salvation... If you believe in them then you aren't an atheist.
Why would I sacrifice myself for a fictional character (who may have existed but doesn't prove anything about divinity) and his stories?
That would be like me sacrificing myself for the sake of the homeless man outside the movie theater who is recruiting souls for a trip to Mars. Actually, a trip to Mars sounds far better:)

I'm not an Athiest, but these questions confuse me. If you don't believe in God, Jesus or an afterlife, why would you give your heart to Jesus to save all the people and send them to heaven?

I don't think they'd be doing it based on Faith, because, once again, they're Athiests.

If Jesus appeared and you suddenly believed in him, and everything associated with him, then you wouldn't be an Atheist anymore, would you.

::confused::

Your question isn't really answerable.

It is impossible to give my heart, literally or figuratively, to Jesus Christ because he is either long dead or a myth. And heaven is just a fairy tale.

Silly question ! It's not gonna happen, darn! But,there are all kinds of things besides God,that if asked, to save all people, all of the people would do that, yes!

Well, if someone could prove to me that that *would* happen, then that would tell me that Jesus must be pretty closely related to God, and that there is a God, so obviously I wouldn't be atheist anymore. lol.

In answer to the question, if I knew for a fact that that's what would happen, then yes, I would.

You really don't get exactly what an atheist is do you....

Atheists do not believe that the christian or any other deity is real so why would they give their 'heart' to a human being who has been dead for nearly 2000 years; especially when they don't think heaven is real either....

No...

Why would I give my heart to a fictional character in order to send all people to a fictional place....

You could just as easily have said "Clap your hands if you believe in fairys and everyone goes to never never land..."

I would, but I would have to believe in this Jesus and God stuff. I don't. So It's not a matter of not wanting to. It's a matter of no belief.

If I could see the hand accepting it. If not, I still wouldn't believe it and therefore could not offer my heart.

What, do you mean cut your chest open with a knife and remove your still-beating heart for worshipping the "god" you believe in?

Didn't that pagan practice end with the Incas?
