I don't know why I'm doing it. Actually, I do. I don't want to go. But everything is so expensive and I would rather spend my hard earn cash on something else. I don't know. I feel something coming. I usually don't tell people how I feel, but I keep it in... until it adds on and on... I feel like I'm going to do something at work that can get me fired. I'm not feeling violent, but I wouldn't mind shoving someone off the stairs. I'm not a violent bipolar. The only times that I have been violent was when I choked my stepbrother, grabbed my friend's neck and pushed her into the wall, threw a textbook at my friend's head, etc. It only happens when I'm already irritated and I don't know. I'm good at controling my behavior, but SOMETIMES...

Maybe look into alternative medicine and therapy. Meditation, supplemented with herbal remedies and whatnot, could be a good change from the doctors... But if bipolar could drive you to choke someone- even if it was once- I think you should have some kind of therapy until you find a suitable, less expensive- and likely more effective in the longterm- alternative approach.

you can't go by how you feel all the time..
this kind of thing isn't something I'd make public. tell God. you can tell God everything. this has to do with your thoughts. having thoughts isn't anyone's business, just you and God. when those thoughts translate into violence, then you really need help, so because you have been violent, you probably need help for learning to control your actions. but I dont' think psychiatry is going to help you with that. they'll just drug you, and you'll be labeled and treated with suspicion.

you really need toexercise and have a channel for your agression. I play raquetball. take your agression out on the little blue ball. some people take up boxing, then they can hit someone legally.. it's ok to do that..

you have to learn to control your emotions, you can't always act on your feelings. Just because you think about something doesn'tmean it makes rational sense to act on those feelings.

it'sreally best to share these things with God and not with others. it cancost you dearly if you share with others. you maynot be bipolar at all, you are justangry. you have to learn to forgive people or it will tear you apart. once you realize how sinful you are, then it will be easier to forgive others.

Please go back to your doctor and tell him/her your thoughts and feelings. Maybe you need to take some time off work. The other thing that might help you is to find an outlet for your feelings. Do you exercise? Doing some kind of vigorous exercise can help you release tension without hurting anyone (including yourself). Whatever you do, it's time to take a time out and find a way to deal with your bottled up emotions.

I know what you mean. It's a hard balance to keep.

I work in retail and don't even make enough to pay rent, let alone medication. I have no insurance, so when I do see a professional it generally wipes out my bank account. I feel like I need to get my life moving to be happy...which involves money. I need to buy a car. I need to move out of my parent's house and pay my own rent. But that all involves money. Pills, or a life? I can't have both, but need both.

I feel for you.

Maybe a new doctor would help? It's not a waste of money, it's your health and your well-being. You need to get back to the doctor, especially since you feel like something is going to happen soon.

Oh I feel for you. I am in a similar position, but I have to see my psychiatrist for the first time on Wednesday and I am really working myself into a state. Keep on with the Doctor. You need it and they are there to help

You really need to get back to your Dr now. Bi-polar is never truly "cured" it is an ongoing process. Please before you get yourself or someone else hurt go back and see your doctor. The impulsive behavior of spending your money on less important things than your health is a clear indication that you need to be there. Best of luck.

Theres no such thing. You can be diagnosed with anything today when people clearly go over the PERSONALITY line.
You're emotional, just like me. Doctors said the same thing "ahah! bipolar!". It's fake dear, just a guy trying to make a buck off a sweet sensative person.
Live your life. You are you. Don't let anyone try to control it or say it's wrong.
