Dude can you exist without me? All the world will get desperate without me! You don't know me LOL.
No seriously sometimes I feel that it the same with my presence or unpresence But there is this spiritual or emotional connection between me and my friends and family that makes us need each other. Like my sister, I think would really feel very bad without me existing.
And Coco you are so important to me, XXXXX.

Maybe my existance is not important for others, but it is important for me because I live for myself and I only love once. It is important that I exist so that I can live life to the fullest.
Also, since all beings are linked to one another, there is always a chance that my existence can make an impact on other's lives.

It's a mystery, yet I know it's true for all of us.
It could be because of some good I did, but didn't realize its impact or it could be because of something I will do. There's no way to really know till my life is over. It may be important because of the potential good I can do and then if I reject that chance, my existence would not be important.

My existence is not only important, it is critical to the design of the planet. If I were not here, there would not be my 4 children, each one a blessing to all those around them. Although they are grown, I am still implanting wisdom into their hearts and minds that not only shape their future, but the future of my precious grandchildren. Who knows what they will be when they are grown, but I do know that what I impart into their spirits will forever continually help shape that. I have, as each and every individual has, a divine destiny. I will walk in that and fulfill that, so my children and grandchildren will have a legacy left to them that will enable them to walk in theirs. Mistakes, yes. But not letting mistakes keep me or them from moving forward. Everything, good and bad, is part of that legacy and what they do with it will also be part of that legacy. That is too overwhelming to even think about in its wholeness. Certainly important.

Although I seem infintessimally superfluous to the universe we can know, I am at the same time absolutely essential to its well-being.
Even on a human scale, I can fade into the woodwork, yet without me, the time-line we are all on would be altered however slightly and our collective futures irretrieveably changed.
Our every choice deviates our course from the previous point of reference, sometimes to our benefit, and sometimes to our detriment. What each of us leaves behind will echo through the ages and resonate in future generations, just as we are each moulded by the genes and the collective memory we have inherited.

To the world it probably is not.
Some days it doesn't seem important to me, but most days I know I am as amazing as life itself.
My existence is very important to the ones who know, love, need, and count on me for reasons of their own.

My existence is important to myself as I love this life. It is important to my friends and family because they love me and love me being around. It is important to my husband as he needs me and loves me and I will be the mother of his future children. It is important to my dog as she needs me to feed her, give her water, walk her and play with and cuddle her.
It is important to people I know and important to my workmates as they need me to do the work.
It is NOT important to the rest of the world. To the rest of the world I am as insignificant as a speck of dirt on the window.
My existence would only be important to the rest of the world if I was about to discover the meaning of life, secret to world peace or a cure for cancer or something very great like that.
Yours and my existence is only important to ourselves and those who know us. If we do not know that the other exists then it is unimportant. Know what I am saying?

It depends on your perspective. Looking at the big picture one might be awestruck at his own insignificance, but that is what is. It can't be changed by all the wishing in the world. I will spend my whole life coming to terms with what is.
Edit: do not despair, It was the overinflated sense of self worth that makes this picture so gloomy. It's really fascinating, why worry.

This may sound weird, but its more important for the sake of my family than it is to me. I don't think checking out is such a big deal anymore, but my kids would be very sad, and I wouldn't want that at all.
