It takes more than belief. It also takes following.

James 2:19 "You believe that there is one God. Good! Even the demons believe that-and shudder."

I will try and explain this from personal experience- I can say that I believe in God and Jesus- actually I always have. From the time I was a little girl I believed in Him, and never questioned His existence. However, until I was 17, my belief was did not make me a Christian. Satan , obviously believes in God and Jesus- or he would do all he can to keep people from the truth. However as you say, Satan is not Christian- so what makes a Christian's belief different? When I was 17 I realized that I was a sinner. And the God that I had believed in was Holy. And because of that my sin, I was separated from God- so I admitted that I was a sinner, confessed and repented of my sin and ask Jesus, to be my Savior and to be my Lord. Belief in God led to me realizing that I was separated from Him- but repentance and coming to Jesus to pay the price that I could never pay, and then committing my life to Him to obey, is what made me a Christian- not just my belief.

The devil believes God exists. The Christian also believes God exists. However, the Christian relies/depends on the person and work of the Lord Jesus Christ for peace with God. The devil is still at war with God.

Jesus is the word and the word was with God form the beginning. Jesus was there when Satan was cast out of heaven. Him and all of his follow lawless angels. Jesus was there with wiisdom when the heavens and the earth was made. Proverbs 8. The Devil does not have to believe he knows.

Ignorant people may say that, but FOLLOWERS / IMITATORS of Jesus as LORD and SAVIOR; those who are surrendered to His lordship and have made confession before others that Jesus IS the Son of God and that He was born and lived in the flesh and died and arose from the dead, are Christians! We don't follow the teaching of Jesus to MAKE us Christian, we follow the teachings of Jesus BECAUSE we ARE Christians. We have relationship with Jesus and become LIKE Him beholding His glory!

Deuce is correct. The definition of Christian is " follower of Christ " not just believer of Christ
(:
Also Satan has had many fights and talks with Jesus. They have seen eachother and Satan was actually an angel named Lucifer and he was and is a very beautiful one. But he was struck by pride and God cast him down deeper then the grave into hell and now is like a roaring lion looking for someone to devour. He is looking for someone he knows will give in. Stay strong, believers!

The devil doesn't believe in Jesus. he simply knows that He is there. There's a difference between knowing and believing. The devil knows there is a Holy Trinity and thats'a far step over from believing in them. Believing in asomeone is having faith in them and knowing that you can depend on them. The devil doesn't do that.

Christians are believers who follow the teachings of Jesus, not just believe in Him. Catholics believe in Jesus and they are not Christians no matter that people try to say that they are one and the same.

Au contraire... Anyone who believes that Jesus is the Son of God and the source of Salvation is Christian by definition. That would include the big scary Devil, as well...
