how do they get the corn on the cob to pop corn curnals that you can pop.

and what do they put in it that allowes the pop corn to "pop".

It comes that way naturally...it just has to be dried.

When you heat up the kernels, the moisture that is already naturally inside starts to boil and make steam. The steam has nowhere to go, so the kernel explodes.

Pop corn is just a specific variety that will pop when heated. The corn grows this way! Maybe look on eBay for pop corn on the cob!

Put magazine/butter in a frying pan that has a heavy cover. Heat it after you have poured in half a handful of corns. Lower the temperature and the pop corns will appear in no time. After the popping has stopped, add in some sugar.

There are specific types of corn that are used to make popcorn. This corn has a certain amount of mositure in it that makes it pop when heated. Alton Brown did a show on it once.
