in place of your child if there is such a place and such a choice to be made? It's a simple yes/no hypothetical question. It requires no further speculation. Just want to hear your thoughts. Thanks.

Why not? You say Jesus suffered for you and your sins. WWJD only applies when it doesn't affect you negatively?

God is love- I thought I was pretty clear that it was a hypothetical question. If you can't handle a simple stipulation, why bother answering?

Conundrum- I am confused by your ability to use a computer and inability to understand a question asked in a way that a 3rd grader could figure out. I'm not sure I could dumb it down too much more. I am also confused that you think every word is a pronoun and needs to be capitalized.

No I wouldn't, as much as I love my child They have free will as I do, and have the right to choose salvation for themselves. Sounds harsh but The Bible teaches that your walk with Christ is a one on one relationship.
As to your edit, Crhist died so that ALL may come to know him, and yes he suffered more than any man. But given freewill we have to make our own choices in life that has direct bering on the life to come. My child has the same oppurtunitys that I have had and by faith I believe that with God's guidence in his upbringing he will also come to know Jesus as saviour.

I have no belief in the Christian Hell. But i would most definitely take the place of my loved ones if it meant they were not going to suffer.

No, I would not. Any children I have in the future must earn their way into heaven just like everyone else, and I would not take an eternity of endless flame and sulfur for them if I could go on to Heaven. No, it just would not happen, no matter how much I loved them.

NO- I will not go to hell for no one. Jesus died for all our sins and I alone am responsible for my own action.
Children can be so ungrateful, and unappreciative. Jesus would be disappointed if I did that.

No. I do not have to go to hell in the place of my child or in the place of anyone's child. God protects children until the age of accountability, and after that they need to choose. NO. I will not go to hell in the place of anyone. Heaven is offered to everyone and if they choose Hell, they will get what they chose.

No.
Though, if my child goes to hell, I'm sure I will be going there to because I obiviously did not raise him correctly, which means I lead him in the wrong direction and did not do my job.
Ofcourse neither of us are! : )

I am not a Christian.
The dictates of free-will however say that it is not possible to take someones place; they chose the life they lead.
Tough love, baby.
ADD: According to the Bible, children (and animals) do NOT go to heaven.
New-Age Christians believe in a "fair" god that would not let them go to heaven without their __________. (insert sappy thing that the bible does not include in salvation; eg: baby, kitty, TV, etc)

Would I ? God says the names of them are written in the book of life. God says his word is the same,do you think he would change it for us. No! There is no choice to be made.

Talk about Sophie's choice. I love my daughter so much and would never want her to suffer. I would. But I would also hope that my selflessness would void the contract and we could both go to Heaven.
