So today I noticed that my ABS warning light came on while driving. I pulled over, turned the car off and back on, and the light reset. By the time I got to the store, it was back on. When I left the store, it was off and didn't come back on all the way home. I know that ABS stands for anti-brake system, but what could be causing the light to come on and why wouldn't it stay on constantly?

First of all, you do not want the ABS light to come on and stay on. It is only supposed to stay on a few seconds when you start the engine then go out. If it comes on while you are driving, you have a problem in the ABS system, Maybe it not coming back on when you were on the way home is that whatever the problem was, it corrected itself. That can happen.

If the brake fluid have been given to low you're transforming into to be presented air into the brake device. this additionally will reason the brake gentle to come back on. Your motor vehicle has 2 brake platforms and if the stress isn't even between them it is going to reason the sunshine to come back on. This appears like your venture. this additionally will come on if there's a venture with the ABS. Get this fixed. you could perform on one brake device, yet while the 2d device fails you will no longer be waiting to give up. and that's a bad element, surprisingly in case you're at the back of me! If the brake gentle is on you will could desire to equalize the stress in the two platforms to instruct it off. in case you're no longer accustomed to the brake device to do this, get it right into a save earlier that's to late.
