I agree with David, however rather than spraying the intake area with Carb cleaner to find the leak, can be very dangerous, carb cleaner is highly flammible and can cause a fire very fast. If you cant visually inspect the rubber boots, THESE BOOTS ARE A VERY COMMON PROBLEM! I would suggest you take it to a local garage that has a smoke machine, they will hook the machine up to your intake system and fill it with smoke to see if there are any leaks, if there is a leak it will be visible with the smoke, if you do use carb cleaner make sure you have a fire extiguisher handy. Check the resistance of the injectors by removing the aluminum cover and disconnecting the injector electrical connectors, with a digital volt/ohm meter check the resistance of each injector, should be about 16 ohms. Make sure each coil is firing by using a spark tester with a long boot on it to reach the plugs. Good luck....

The more usual cause of a miss on this engine is a leaking intake manifold boot. They are the six rubber hoses connecting the two half's of the intake manifold. Use a can of carb cleaner by spraying on the rubber boots while the engine is idling. The miss will go away or idle will change drastically when spray hits leaking boot.I always replace all 6 boots and all 12 clamps. Not a hard job, but not easy if you've never done one.

in addition to the previous answers [both excellant]
i had one come in with a somtimes dead miss[on one cyl. only, #4 if i remember right] that fault traced to a quick disconnect with a pin that had backed out [when pushed back into place it clicked, so i suspect it was never all the way in place when it was new] the car had 158k miles when it failed. note when coil was lifted out it would make spark just not in the installed position.
as far as injectors go from the beginning of LH injection i have replaced exactly 1 faulty injector.
