Cocker Spaniels are in heat the same length of time as any other breed/mix...21 days. Gestation is the same for them as it is for any other breed/mix...57 -67 days with 63 being the average.

My cousin had a cocker spaniel once.
I can't remember when the dog wasn't
in heat.
The dog had more off-spring than Roger
Rabbit.

Spay the dog and she will never be in HEAT and you will have no worries.
