What is the word "homework" in Spanish? When I went to an online translator, it said preparacion or something, and apparently that means "practice", not "homework".

Oh, yeah, and how would you write "do homework" (e.g. No me gusta do homework)?

Tarea.

To say, "I do not like doing homework," say, "No me gusta hacer la tarea."

Hacer is the infinitive, "to do."

I had three years of Spanish in High School. "Homework" was "tarea".

You might try the word "assignment" for your translation bot, instead of "homework".

"Homework" is a noun; there is no verb form. "To do" and "to want/desire" are the verb imperatives you are looking for: "hacer" and "querer" respectively.

"I don't want to do my homework" should be, in Spanish:

"!No quiero hacer mi tarea!"

To which the rest of us will reply:

"Chupa ser usted!"

"Sucks to be you!"

You don't. You would respond with jejeje which is equivalent to lol in Spanish. Lol is an English slang term therefore it does not exist.

"Tarea" or "Deberes". "Deberes" is much more used (at least here in Ecuador) and also is affected by gender, if you have one homework then in spanish it would be "Tengo que hacer un deber", if have more than one homework it would be "Tengo que hacer deberes".
And anwering to your previous question, you should write "No me gustan los deberes, especiamente los de español" (I don't like homework, specially spanish homework)
