Neither.
Date everybody and anybody while you're young. Don't assume they have $$ and don't take advantage of them and their feelings if they do have $$.
Truth is, youth and fabulous looks can only attract good OR bad looking men with major dollars of any age. Pretty soon your own age & looks fade - they're money doesn't and it's on to someone hotter and younger looking than yourself.
Date until you find someone that's your best friend, that's your "safe person", that you know you can trust with anything you tell them, that you know you love. Then marry them or whatever arrangements you two make.
Crappy things happen in life and it sure is nice to go through it with someone you love & trust than with someone who just has $$.
Besides, if you're not attracted to someone, their faults and annoyances will only grow bigger over time. You'll have no respect and in the end, it rarely works. The feeling is usually reciprocated.
Been there, done that. Glad I'm now married to my best friend & lover - coming on 11 yrs. and still going strong...

rich or not has NOTHING to do with who i would want to marry. i'm being honest about this one. i was married to a fire fighter... didnt make much $, didn't matter to me. even though the marriage didnt work out the $ had nothing to do with it.
about a year & 1/2 ago i met the man of my dreams... we both believe we are soulmates... new it from the fist night.... and i make more $ than he does... it does not matter if you love them. it is important that the person is responsible & can provide for himself & do their share in the marriage.... but i'm a professional woman & would likely make more than a lot of men.
i would not marry someone i did not love.

not ever get married, if those were my only two options, I could bring it to myself to have lasting meaningful relationships with someone I love while not getting married. Marriage is just a formality, love is in the heart.

extremely romantic guy who makes an user-friendly income. i don't dream of living over the proper. i could be definitely content fabric with a classic existence style and spend it with somebody who loves me.
