It sure does. It also builds my faith, so that when I face a similar challenge later on, I know that I have victory in Christ Jesus. God is always reaching to us, calling our names, strenghtening our hearts. He is truly a friend.

ALL THE TIME. Everyone should put their trust in God when it comes to not only making difficult decisions but just everything in general.

Well that depends on how you trust him. If you're looking to him for answers and waiting chances are you will never find them. But if you trust all that you've learned from God to guide you... There's no guarantee it go the way you want it to go but trust that all things work together for good for them that love God. Keep your eyes on God.
...this coming from a guy who doesn't even believe in God. Weird...

Trusting God at any time and in every given situation not only helps but when the storms of life come in, God will make a way out of the storm where there seems to be no way out. ( when someone truly trusts Him.) My Father is so awesome...The One who loves us unconditionally and immeasurably..

There is no one else to trust. God does help if we live our life entirely according to the commands of God, worship, give charity, help others need and all good stuff then we can hope that God will also help us in need.
Those who never follow God and expect God to help them in their need is expecting too much. Just beliving in God is not enough.

I find when I trust in God, I pray, and He either answers or sends the help.

I believe that I am the son of God brought into this world through my parents. I try to live a life worth this relationship. Now when I face difficulties I put the RESPONSIBILITY TO LOOK AFTER MY INTERESTS on Him since I came into this world not on my own volition, but His and I live a good life to the best of my circumstances. How can a father escape from the responsibility of looking after a son He created?
Believe me, what I stated is true. Correct me if I am wrong.

Of course. Trusting God helps me in everything. We are not called to trust God only when things are going poorly or when we need to decide something. We are to trust him at all times.

Yes absolutely always - ask God for wisdom, the one prayer He always answers without fail - and then think about the worst possible consequence of your decision - if you can live with that consequence, step out in faith, trusting Him to guide you.
It's the only way to live - and not a bad way to die either!

There's not a day that goes by that I ever stop and think about god. I get thru everyday of my life, just like other people do, and not once, not ever, not even a little bit does the thought of god ever cross my mind.
