Lion's milk, Bosphorus,vapours passing by, people laughing and having fun. I miss Istanbul:-)

it doesn't matter where I am but I like being with people I love...that's fun...
I also love dancing also going to a bar with family and friends have a bear or two and singing with them, long walks and long talks, going to pictures alone or with my daughter only :D

I love being out and not worrying about a car or parking, just going with the flow, meeting friends out anywhere, fun people, having a good time and making everyone welcome. I miss Istanbul and the fun and friends I had there too but no lion's milk for me... I developed an allergy to alcohol!! I know! What a stupid thing to do! But I can't change it. I sneeze constantly if I drink it followed by 's,elale' nose. Not fun or pretty.
That is 'waterfall' nose to anyone who doesn't know to keep with the guidelines of writing in English, it sounds far more attractive in Turkish. A pretty name for an ugly thing:)

Fun for me is not usually about what I'm doing, what I'm eating, or where I am. Fun for me is about the good friends with whom I'm experiencing life. Some of the simplest activities become major memories with the right person, and some of the so-called fun times are wretched with the wrong people.
I think you all know what I'm talking about. We've all had those nights.
But last night I had a truly wonderful experience by myself. I heard rain tapping on my air conditioner. I stepped out my door and just stood there in the cold rain for a moment smiling at the clouds. I went to sleep with the rain and the smile both still on my face. That was fun.

Fun! There are different ways of having fun for me. But most of them require the company of family and/or friends. Let me thing of a few ways of having fun.
Having a hearty breakfast on a Sunday morning with my family. Especially if it's raining, and the bread is fresh, eggs sunny side up, sausages, lots of cheese and olives.
Going for a picnic on the mountains on an early spring day; green all around, the smell of shish-kebap, birds singing, wife and daughter preparing the salad.
Having dinner at a nice, cosy restauarant with my family.
Having dinner and drinking at a full-meze place with friends and chatting noisily.
Walking hand in hand with my wife and/or daughter in another country/city.
Just sitting quietly in my fav armchair and reading a good book while it's raining outside.

I haven't had fun in sooo long... I like having friends over and cooking for them...in the summer I BBQ on the terace but now that it's getting cold how about lighting the fireplace and drink alcohol to get warm?

How about god's water over dinner with friends.
Or beer over chatter with friends.
Or a couple of single malt shots before hitting the dance floor.
Or just walking on the Bosphorus on a nice spring or fall day.
Right now it is having tea while answering the questions of friends. As I said before, every day is bayram to me. <|:P

not sure what else you can do on here.. my laptop would get wet scuba diving and I doubt I could get on line down there anyway.
I would like to see some pics of Alana upside down and cling filmed to a lamppost on the dog walkers run, any chance of someone organising that ?

To me fun is an action or speech that provides amusement or arouses laughter. Fun implies laughter or gaiety! So, it doesn't matter what you do or where you are but who you are with....in other words, I don't believe that you can have real fun by yourself! I love having BBQ parties with my friends on the beach, going clubbing, going shopping with my friends or doing outdoor activities!
