I just asked because, I think people like me that are so sick of him are begining not to like him. Before I could care less, not my favorite driver, but surely not someone I wanted to see out of the top 10. But now.... I am so sick of him, that it is almost making me not like him, and want to see him do bad.

Yes, I wanted to see him win today and make it four in a row.
It's all of the above. Jimmie drives smart, and drives hard when he needs too. His crew has some of the fastest pits, and has not made any errors in a long time. His crew chief has made some of the best calls during this chase with tires and other pit strategy. And of course, HMS has been dominating this year with the COT. A smart move on HMS for doing all it's research and development sooner and more thoroughly than the other teams. It has paid off.

yes I like to see him win. and if he gets the championship he deserves it, he's been the best this season, if 9 wins doesn't mean anything then what does?
and as for what it is, I think its everything all together. its driver, crew, crew chief and the fact that its HMS. all the pieces are working together, and when that happens you get the right results.
but really who is gonna make everyone happy. i might get dumbs down but i can't help being happy for my driver.

It happens all the time when one team dominates. People start disliking a team just because they win and there driver doesn't. It is what makes nascar what it is. Jimmie is just doing his job the best he can. Hate him if you want but your driver would do the same.

I feel the same way with Dale Jr. I hear his name all the time and it makes me sick of hearing it. I start to not like him and for what? He's not a bad guy but I hate hearing about him week in and week out and for nothing. Where is his wins? Where is his championships?

Nope, I wanted to see Bowyer get the most points and JJ and JG to have early troubles (nothing bad--just finish in the 40s) so it would be a 3-man race going into Homestead, I wouldn't have minded Ky Busch sweeping the weekend--no one has ever won all three.

I am not a fan of Jimmie Johnson, but everything is in sync with him this year--all of the above and luck !!!! Hopefully next season will be more interesting.

Bowyer is my driver. Jimmie has not earned this title. 10 wins and 6 finishes outside the top 20 is okay, 6 wins and 1 finish outside the top 20 deserves a championship versus the other one.

I wish Jeff Gordon would've won today just to make things more interesting and to make the points lead closer. Now we pretty much kno who is gonna win, which isn't fun!
