I don't thank the primordial ooze or the sperm or ova from which my children were born. I understand human biology, and I do not consider I need to thank anything for that.

However, if you are moved by your religion to do so, you are welcome to thank whatever you want for your children.

No kids. But I thank the primordial ooze for my life. Do Christians thank the dirt from which they were made?

no children of my own but 16 nieces and nephew and I did not thank the "primordial ooze" for any of them. I DID however, thank God for such precious gifts. Thanks for letting me sound off even though I do not have children of my own.

My opinion.

How many times are you going to try to put people down? It's very un-christian like. If being Christian means I get to be like you- thanks, but I'll take the lake of fire instead of having so little self-worth that I feel it necessary to shoot others down constantly (as you've been doing since you joined Y!A.)

matter bless itself

matter be itself and have properties that are somewhat constant enough so that some kind of understanding can be. So that men may develop what is called physics so that we may conceive of reality in a meaningful way.

primordial ooze bless

thank "this chain of cause and effect that allowed me to have this moment of happiness" (what you might call god)

Yeah, I skipped that part. I just remember thanking Dr Epi and Dr Dural for their help during my birthing experience :)

I'd think most would thank their spouse or significant other first and foremost. Then again, some like myself, consciously choose not to have children.

We had our second child at home, lots of primordal ooze after that one. (We even kept the placenta in the freezer for awhile - til we found the right plant to stick it under)
